Edit Part Geometry in a Pattern
If you edit the geometry of a link part in a pattern, all parts with the same name will be updated. You can recognize a link part in the assembly tree by its L extension.
- Do either of the following:
- Select a part in the pattern and then select the context-sensitive function Edit.
- Double-click the part.
- Edit the geometry of the part.
- Click OK.
Changing the Size of a Library Component in a Pattern
If you change the size of a library component, all components with the same name will be updated in the pattern.
- Do either of the following:
- Select a component in the pattern and then select the context-sensitive function Edit.
- Double-click a component.
- Select a new size for the library component from the dimension table or edit the values in the fields.
- Click OK.
Note:
- If the components of the pattern are local parts, you can edit individual pattern parts so that they are different from each other. Local parts do not have the L extension in the assembly tree.
