Composite Sheet Structures
Add composite plate structures, and plate codes. A sheet structure can comprise the top, core and/or bottom layers. The structures defined here are displayed on the list when you are selecting a sheet code (item) as a composite sheet property.
- On the tab, in the Databases group, click Application.
The Application Databases dialog box is opened.
- Double-click the Composite Sheet Layers function.
- Add a layer to the composite sheet.
- Add the row in the database by the context-sensitive Add row.
- Select either Surface Coating or Core Material in the Type field.
- Select a visualization material for the layer from the VISUALIZED list. The System folder contains the software supplier's materials. Once you have selected a material, click View, and you can see the details of the selected material.
- Complement material data in the fields.
- Click OK.
Note:
- You can continue by defining composite sheet structures, sheet codes. A sheet structure comprises the top, core and bottom layers. You can define sheet structures with the Composite Sheets function.
- The materials you select for the top, core and/or bottom layers are defined with the Composite Sheet Layers function.
