Stretching a Suspension Rod or Secondary Support

Stretch or shorten the length of the support rod that has been added to the assembly.
- Primary support suspension rod
- Secondary support suspension rod
Proceed as follows:
- On the  tab, in the Fastening group, click Edit (=spanner symbol), and select tab, in the Fastening group, click Edit (=spanner symbol), and select Stretch Support Rod or Beam. Stretch Support Rod or Beam.
- Use points to indicate the area within which you wish to stretch the geometry. The area can include more than the one rod/support you would like to stretch by the same amount. 
- Indicate a reference point for the displacement. 
- Indicate the displacement in either of the following ways:- Specify the displacement as a distance.For example, place the ruler along the X, Y or Z axis and enter the distance value in relation to the selected reference point. 
- Place the ruler and indicate the displacement by selecting a point elsewhere in the geometry.
 
- Specify the displacement as a distance.
- Confirm the displacement.
- Update the length into support data.- Lengthen - Click the +D button.
- Shorten - Click the -D button.
 
- Select OK.
