Configuration Data Connected to a Model
You can define dimension table data and separate item data for each configuration of a model.
- Move the cursor over the Configurations symbol in the feature tree of the part or the assembly tree.
- Select the context-sensitive function Configuration Data.
- Define the configuration-related data in the fields in the dialog box.
- Define item data for the configuration by clicking the Item Data column. Accept the addition of item data. The model's archives data is copied into the item data, which you can complement.
If the configuration already has item data, you can edit the item data.
If necessary, you can delete the item data of configuration by clicking the item data and clearing the contents of the Label field, or by selecting the Edit> Delete Row function in the Item Data window.
- You can select the dimension table ID for the part model in the configuration data by clicking the Dimension Table column and selecting a table ID in the list.
- Define item data for the configuration by clicking the Item Data column. Accept the addition of item data. The model's archives data is copied into the item data, which you can complement.
- Click OK.

Dialog Box Options
- Configuration
- The configurations defined for the model are listed in this column. Click a row in the column to activate the table ID in the Dimension Table column for selection.
- Item Data
- Defines the item data connected to the configuration. The item label is displayed in the field. You can add item data or edit existing data.
- Dimension Table
- Defines the dimension table ID used in the configuration. The part geometry is modified based on the selected table ID.
