Edit Backup Settings

General

  • The program automatically saves backup copies under the BACKUP folder in the user’s home directory ..vxg4/user.
  • Files accumulate under the folder, so you should delete them from time to time, or you should adjust the settings to automatically delete the backup file.
  • The backup file is always saved in connection with normal saving.
  • The backup file is created with the name of the model or drawing, followed by -backup1 ... -backup[no].
    • The most recent file always gets the number 1 and the previous ones are named with a higher number.
  • Backups are also created from the automatically generated scheduled safe files.
