The Limit Selection Dialog Box

You can select which lines to copy and how they will be represented in the model. Define the data in the dialog box.

Dialog Box Options

Projection
Defines the projection where the copied lines will be represented in the 3D model. Select a projection.
Layers
Selects the layers from which the elements will be copied. Select either of the following:
  • Select All Layers.
  • If you want to select particular layers, first select Selected layers and Layer Selection. Select layers.
Automatic Constraints
The constraints will be added automatically, if you select Automatic Constraints. If the number of lines in the drawing is high, the addition of the constraints may take some time. The following text will be displayed in the status bar during the addition: Automatic Dimensioning in Progress.
Dimension constraints are not added.
Guide Curve
Creates a guide curve from the lines.
Explode into Lines
Explodes the drawing into lines (cuts the lines into sections). Also takes into account overlapping macros (Z coordinate).
Set the drawing limits
If you want to limit an area of the drawing again, click Select Limits. The drawing is shown in the window. Indicate the elements that are included in the projection with two corner points.
