Combine

  1. Select the function Point clouds | Combine.
  2. The program combines all the local point cloud parts in the feature tree at the main level.
  3. The program creates a new local PointCloud part to which the combined clouds are written directly. As of version 30.0, the function no longer writes temporary files that are read back through the import dialog. The operation has thus been speeded up significantly. Since no import dialog is required, the combined point cloud is limited by an area or a limiting cube, and thinned out if necessary with its own function.
Note: If you want to combine only certain point clouds, select them from the feature tree with the Ctrl key pressed down and use the context-sensitive function Point Cloud > Combine point clouds that opens by right-clicking.
