Edit Detail Book Dialog Box

Add and delete details from a detail book in the dialog box. The name of the detail book is displayed in the title bar of the dialog box.

Detail archive

Select the detail archive from the list. The detail archive can be located either in the project directory or the custom directory. Both directories may contain detail archives and details with the same name.

When the DesignStream interface add-on option is available to you, and you have logged into the DesignStream system, you can retrieve a detail from the DesignStream system. In this case, select DS as the detail archive.

Detail

Select the detail label from the list. If a detail archive and detail with the same name are found from both the project directory and the custom directory, the details in the project directory will override the others, i.e., the detail to be added is selected from the detail archive in the project directory.

The detail drawing is displayed in the preview window. The opening of the detail preview image is defined in the BDSXX keyword group under the keyword detail_disable_open_preview:

detail_disable_open_preview= 0 : The preview image is always opened.
detail_disable_open_preview= 1 : The preview image is not opened, if the image requires another program to be started (for example Adobe Reader).

Details of detail book

The details of the detail book are displayed in this field.

Insert

Add a detail to a detail book as follows:

Select a detail archive.
Select the detail.
Click the Add button.

Delete

Delete a detail from a detail book as follows:

Select the detail you want to delete from the Details of detail book field.
Click the Delete button.
