Terrain

You can create the terrain at the building location based on the actual elevation data using the terrain editing functions. You can use the elevation curves of a map or elevation data from a survey as the data. You can also import the coordinates of the terrain points as a TXT, CSV or SOS file. You can also read the terrain points from a .las or .laz point cloud file, if you are using the Point Clouds add-on option of the software.

You can create road and yard areas in the terrain and make excavations. The terrain is modeled in its own drawing-model pair. When the terrain is finished, you can import buildings into the model either from the same or any other project.
