Edit a Building Component in a Dimension Table

You can edit the geometry of a building component selected from the browser using a dimension table. The use of the dimension table is based on the component's dimension constraints which are controlled by modifying the values of the table variables.

1. Select a component.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Properties.
4. Edit the data of the component in the dimension table as follows:
   • Enter new values in the Value fields of the variables.
   • You can update the changes to the preview image by clicking the Preview button, if automatic updates are not enabled.

5. Confirm the data.

Note

• You can also open an existing component for editing by double-clicking it.
• When you are adding a component, you can edit its parameters by selecting the Edit Parameters function from the additional menu.
• Some building components have a form file which is used for editing the parameters. The dimension table will not open for such components.
