Divide a Sheathing into Fields with a Line

This function can be used to divide a horizontal structure or sheathing into fields. You can define individual origin points and sheathing directions for each field.

Divide sheathing into fields with a line as follows:

1. Select a structure and a layer of type SHEET.

   Select a Structure and a Layer

2. Select Plane Structure | Framing | Framing Gallery Base Point.
3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
4. Select Add Split > By Line.
5. If necessary, change the direction of the line as follows:
   1. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
   2. Select one of the following:
      • Vertical
      • Horizontal
      • Default (the rising direction in an inclined plane)
      • Select direction
        1. Select the start point of the direction line.
        2. Select the end point of the direction line.
6. Click the line location.

Note

• Before selecting a location for the division line, you can change its direction to horizontal or vertical also by using the cursor keys Arrow right or Arrow left.
• When sheathing is divided into fields, the program will add one origin point to each field. You can change the direction of the sheathing by editing the origin point.
• Update the sheathing by selecting Add Sheathing.
