Create an XML File of the IFC Model

You can create an XML file from the IFC model imported into the project, and use the file, for example, to compare IFC models.

1. Open the branch External Models in the object tree.
2. Select the IFC model (.ifc file).
3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
4. Select Create XML File.

The XML file is saved in the project folder. The name of the file is the same as the name of the IFC model.

You can compare XML files using a file comparison program.
