Edit Wiring Database

This function is used to view and edit wiring databases. Wiring database can be result of Collect wiring Database function or the database is created when a harness drawing is updated. It has been possible to name drawing related wiring database name into drawing archive card.

Now it is recommended, that the automatic naming method is used. The easiest way to do that is to simply clear the field in drawing archive card and automatic naming is used after that.

1. Select the function Cable Harnesses> Edit Wiring Database
2. The function will check whether the user wants to edit wiring database related to active drawing. If the answer is no, the user must select database using file open dialog.
3. Edit database with normal database functions.

Naming wiring list databases (default)

Wiring list database naming is automated from ED18 version. You can still use databases saved with their old names.

Updating harness drawing used to update original wiring database collected from wiring diagrams. Now each harness wiring database is saved separately and named after harness drawing number.
