Device Label

Add a device label to a symbol.

1. Select either of the followings:
   • Select tab, Labels group, Device, and Device Label.
   • Select tab, Labels group, Device, and Device Label.
2. Click the symbol.
3. If necessary, select auxiliary functions. Auxiliary Functions for Adding a Label
4. Move the cursor on top of the symbol, and the IO points are shown.
5. Select symbol's text label point.
6. Select the label from the list, or type the label in the dialog box, and confirm the data.
7. If necessary, change the location point of the label or set the label in the direction of an angle.

   Select the Angle

8. Select a location for the label.
9. Do either of the following:
   • Select Confirm.
   • Click another position of the label.

Note

• In insertion of a text label, cursor locates itself to the center of the symbol. The point is marked with grey color when you move the cursor near to the symbol. If you move the cursor near to the handle, its color turns yellow, and you can click the point.

  

• In addition to ordinary text, there can also be a link to another drawing in the text label. When the label is selected, the function Open Link can be selected from the context-sensitive menu like in normal text. This function can only be used if the label contains a link. Otherwise, it is displayed in grey.
