Rotate a Cross Section

Profile Structure Design

You can rotate a cross section to left or right in its sweep direction before selecting its position.

  1. Select the rotation step: 90 or 15, or enter the angle value in the field.

  2. If you are rotating the cross section to the left, for example 90 degrees, click the button:

  3. If you are rotating the cross section to the right, for example -90 degrees, click the button:

Note:
  • You can also rotate the cross section with the cursor keys:
    • The Up cursor key rotates the cross section left in increments of 5 degrees.
    • The Down cursor key rotates the feature right in increments of 5 degrees.
    • The Left cursor key rotates the feature right in increments of 1 degree.
    • The Right cursor key rotates the feature left in increments of 1 degree.
