Spare Parts Book
Create a page for a spare parts book as a Vertex drawing. For example, parts of a device are displayed as an exploded view or a section view in a drawing.
Only parts that have part numbers are collected to the spare parts list.
You can create pages in the spare parts book as follows:
- Assembly model.- Open the product's main assembly in the working window.
- Open the subassembly in the working window.
  Create pages of the spare parts books from the same assembly. Create pages of the spare parts books from the same assembly.
- Drawing of an Assembly. Select the context-sensitive function Drawings and create a drawing of the assembly. Create a New Drawing of a Model Create a New Drawing of a Model Usually the first (_1) drawing of the model is created for the purpose of manufacturing or internal use of a company. Model drawings from _2 can be used on other purposes, spare parts book, for example. - Part Numbers. In the drawing projection, add part numbers to the parts whose data you wish to be printed out in the spare parts list.
- Sheet (drawing). Add the sheet to the drawing from the symbol library.The sheet templates created by the software supplier are located in the System/SparePartsBook folder of the symbol library. For example, select the SP_A4.vxp sheet. 
- Scale of a Projection. If the projection does not fit inside the sheet, change the scale of the projection.- Double-click the projection.
- Select the scale.
 
-  Layers. Set all layers of the drawing as visible with the  Layers> Layers> All Layers function. All Layers function.
- Saving in the archives. Save the drawing in the archive with the File> Save function.
- Archives Data. Also enter the following information in the drawing's archival data:- Fill in the Class field as follows:- Select Other Documents from the Main Group menu.
- Select Spare Parts Book.
- Select SP Page as the class. This will define the drawing as a spare part drawing.
 
- Enter the product's name in the Product field.
- Enter a description of the product in the Description field. If necessary, add a translation for the description text in the Word Book by clicking the Translations button.
 
- Fill in the Class field as follows:
- Click OK.
- You can print out the spare parts book for the first time once you have added one drawing as a page (SP Page) in the spare parts book. A table of contents will be automatically created when you print out the spare parts book.
