Add a Profile on a Line

This function can be used to add a profile by pointing the parent line of the profile in a drawing. Draw the parent line before selecting the add profile function as an open polyline, an arc or rounded polyline. Make the polyline continuous. After selecting the profile but before pointing the line, you can select helper functions that allow you, for example, to select the insertion line, define the profile offset to the selected points, or select the insertion direction.

1. On the tab, in the Mechanical group, select Profiles, and select Add profile on a line .
2. Select the type and size of the profile from the list.
3. Select the line properties for a profile with the button:
   
4. Select auxiliary functions for adding the profile.

5. Click the line onto which you wish to add the profile in the drawing.
6. Stop adding of the the same profile by selecting Confirm.
7. Select Confirm.
