Add a Profile to the Library
Save the the ready made profile cross section to the library. Draw the profile cross section, and add the hatch inside the closed polyline. When saving the profile, click the side views from the cross section so that you begin with the left-hand side. The clicked side is indicated with an arrow. If you are saving only the outline of a side, click only the two outermost points looking from the direction of the arrow. Click at least two points on each side.
Click lines on a side to define the lines that are drawn for a profile seen from each side. The line parameters in effect in the cross section when the points were clicked are saved in the profile. One side can have several line types.
To correctly save the profile's label text in the bill of materials, you must define a label for the profile. The label must be entered in the following format:
label= ABxCxD
A = String, the profile type. For example RHS
B = Profile width looking from the left side
C = Profile width looking from below
D = String, for example wall thickness
Example: RHS100x100x2 or L80x120x2.
Add a profile to the library as follows:
- Add a 2D drawing New 2D drawing in the archives
