Create a Single Part from an Assembly

Create a single part from an assembly.

1. Open the assembly model in the working window.
2. Select the context-sensitive Create New.
3. Define the properties of the new part:
   • Select Part as the document type.
   • Enter a name for the document.
   • Click OK.
4. Select all parts of the assembly, displayed grayed out in the working window, by clicking two corner points of an area surrounding them. Click the lower left corner point by clicking with the left mouse button. Release the button on the right upper corner in the way off, when the all assembly parts selected.
5. Select the context-sensitive function Boolean.
6. Select Add as the operation, and select OK.
7. Select Confirm. The part will be saved in the archive as an assembly part.
8. Delete the new part in the model tree, and save the assembly.
9. Open a new part model in the browser. Browser – Archive
