Bolts, Nuts and Washers

Add the flange connection bolts to the flange's item data.

1. Select a flange from the assembly.
2. Select the Item Data function from the context-sensitive menu.
3. Click the Add Bolts button in the Component Data window.
4. Indicate the connection surfaces on the flange exteriors, for example.
   • Select the start surface (A) for the connection.

   

   • Indicate the end surface (B).
5. Vertex calculates the bolt quantity and size according to the flange and the length according to the indicated start and end surfaces.

   In the dialog box, you can edit the Connection Length value if necessary.

6. Select OK.
