Selected components as a Zip file

Export the selected drawings to another Vertex environment.

  1. Select Plant> Drawings> Export Selected Drawings in the menu bar.
  2. Fill in the search data for the drawings that are to be searched.
  3. Select the browsing method From List and click OK.
  4. Select the drawings from the list.
    • Select all drawings by clicking the All/None button.
    • Select one drawing and add more by holding down the Ctrl button.
  5. Select OK.

    Vertex automatically names the file vxp.zip.

  6. Select a folder to save the ZIP file in or create a new folder.
  7. Select OK.

Import Selected Drawings

Import a ZIP file into the Vertex environment.

  1. Select Plant> Drawings> Import Selected Drawings from the menu bar.
  2. Select a ZIP file from the folder structure.
  3. The database view opens. Do one of the following:
    • Select OK, and the drawings will be imported.
    • You can exclude a drawing by selecting the appropriate row and pressing Delete.
    • If you press Esc, the drawings will not be copied.
