Secondary Support

Piping Design

Add a secondary support.

  1. Select either of the following:
    • On the tab, in the Fastening group, click Insert Secondary Supports.
    • Select the context-sensitive function Add> Secondary Support.
  2. Select the support type from the library.

  3. Select a support by double-clicking the corresponding thumbnail.
  4. Fill in the secondary support data. For example:
    • Support position
    • Size
    • Length
  5. Select OK.
  6. Click a position.
Note:
  • Start the video help by clicking Shift + left mouse button on the button.
  • Include secondary supports that you have added yourself in the support image and part list. The primary and secondary supports, as well as profiles, for a support position are now included in the support images. The default limiting is also conducted based on the above-mentioned elements.
  • View the support's part information.
    1. Select the part from the assembly.
    2. Select the Item Data function from the context-sensitive menu.
    3. Browse the information using the Up and Down arrow keys.

      To browse the data arranged into to rows, press Shift + Down Arrow.
