New Projection
You can add a parallel projection, sheet-metal flattening, isometric, or other projection to a model drawing.
The new projection is created based on the chosen viewing direction of the model from which you have opened the drawing.
- Open a drawing of a model.
- Select the context-sensitive function Projection.
- Select the properties of the new projection in the New Projection dialog box.
- Select OK.
- Click the position of the projection in the drawing.
- Select Confirm.
Move the cursor over over a projection symbol in the projection tree, and then select the context-sensitive function Model view.
Note:
- By using the functions on the Projection menu bar, you can already set the model to the desired projection in the 3D working window before selecting the Projection function.
- You can change the size of a projection in a drawing by selecting the projection and the function Properties. Select an appropriate scale for the projection from the Scale list.
- If you do not specify a viewing direction or label in the dialog box, and you confirm the data, the model is added to a drawing in the projection in which the model is in the 3D working window.
