Add a Distance Constraint

Define the distance between two parts. Use the part faces, lines and points to define the constraint.

1. On the tab, in the Constraints group, click Distance.
2. Select the point or the line in the 3D sketch.
3. Select the face, line, or the point.
4. Define in the Constraints dialog box to the Value field the number value, and to the Formula field the formula.
5. Select Drives Geometry.
6. Click OK.
