Copy a Feature

You can copy the sketch of a feature. The copied feature can also be a library feature. This function will replace the content last copied on the clipboard.

  1. Select the face formed by the feature on the part.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Clipboard> Copy.
  3. Sketches of features based on a sketch are opened in sketching mode. Select an insertion point for the sketch by clicking.
Note:
  • Paste the feature to a line or on a face using the context-sensitive function Clipboard> Paste in the same working window or in another window.
  • You can copy a sketch of a feature using the context-sensitive function Clipboard> Copy and paste using the function Clipboard> Paste in the same or other working window. After pasting the sketch, select the operation to be performed on the sketch, which can be different from that of the feature copied.
