Cut a Feature

You can cut the sketch of a feature and place it onto the clipboard. The function will replace the previous item copied onto the clipboard. The feature will be cut from the part.

  1. Select the face formed by the feature on the part.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Clipboard> Cut.
  3. Select an insertion point for the sketch by clicking.
Note:
  • Use the Clipboard> Paste function to cut the sketch and place it in the same working window or another window.
  • Select the operation (feature) to be performed on the sketch only after pasting the sketch.
