Create a Model or Drawing List
General
- You can list the data of the model or drawing archive in a text file.
- To affect the data you want to list, you can enter the search criteria by which you want to list the archive data.
- When defining search terms, you can use an asterisk (*) to replace several characters or a question mark (?) to replace a single character.
- Please also note that, in addition to text lists, you can make a list of the models and drawings contained in an individual project in .xls (Excel) or .htm format on the third page Documents of the project archive card.
Create a list of models or drawings
- Select the archive to be listed:
- Models: Archives | Documents | Maintenance > Create Model List.
- Drawings: Archives | Documents | Maintenance > Create Drawing List.
- The program opens the dialog box Search Data.
- Fill in the search criteria.
- If you do not complete the search data, the contents of the entire archive will be listed.
- Click OK to accept the data that will be used as search criteria and perform the search.
- Windows will ask you with which program you want to open the file.
- If necessary, select an application, for example Word, and accept the selection by clicking OK.
- Windows may ask you with which character set to convert the file.
- If necessary, select a character set, for example Unicode (UTF-8) and accept the selection by clicking OK.
- The list opens in the application you selected.
- Save or print the file, if necessary.
