Preview Image of a Model

General

• The preview image of a model is updated normally each time you save the model.
• The automatically updated preview image is created from the direction where the model is at the time of saving, but the model is zoomed for the preview image to be fully visible.
• It is possible to lock the preview image of the model so that it is not updated when saving the model.
• A manually updated preview image is saved from the direction and zoom mode in which it is displayed at the time of update.
• You can also import an image file as a preview image.

Create a preview image manually

1. First, set the model in the desired position and zooming.
2. Select the function Archives | Documents | Thumbnail.
   • The program opens the dialog box Preview Thumbnail.
3. Select Lock thumbnail.
   • If you clear this option, the preview image is automatically updated the next time the model is saved.
4. Click Update to update the view in the model window as the preview image.
5. Click Import to set an external image as the preview image.
   • Acceptable file formats are jpeg, png, tiff, bmp or gif.
6. Select OK.
