Add a Piping Component or a Pipe Assembly from the Archive

You can add a piping component or a pipe assembly from the archive. A pipe assembly is added to an assembly as a subassembly.

1. Select in the Archive Browser.
   • Part
   • Assembly
2. You can select auxiliary positioning functions as follows:
   • If the selected assembly has the Pipe Assembly property, you can select auxiliary piping design functions.
   • If the selected part has the Piping Component property, you can select auxiliary piping design functions.

     If the selected assembly or part does not have these properties, you can position the assembly from its origin.

3. Position the pipe assembly / piping component into its location.
