Edit rotation axes

The rotation axis of a horizontal structure is the edge that stays in place when the pitch of the structure is edited. This function is used to edit the rotation axis of a horizontal structure by selecting a new rotation axis or by changing the location of the rotation axis.

Set new rotation edge

This function is used to define a new rotation axis for a structure. One of the edges of the structure is selected as the rotation axis.

1. Select Edit rotation axis.
2. Select Set new rotation edge.
3. Select the area again.
4. Select the edge.
5. Select Confirm.
6. Select another editing function from the auxiliary menu, if necessary.

Move rotation axis

This function is used to move the rotation axis of a structure. A reference point is selected on the axis and an offset is defined for the point.

1. Select Edit rotation axis.
2. Select Move rotation axis.
3. Select the area again.
4. Select a reference point.
5. Click the new location.
6. Select Confirm.
7. Select another editing function from the auxiliary menu, if necessary.
