Window And Door Sheets Dialog Box

Architectural

When you create the window and door sheets to the local project archive, select the labels, sheets and schedules to be updated in the Window and Door Sheets dialog box.

Dialog Box Options

Windows, Exterior Doors, Interior Doors
If you are using separate numbering for windows and doors, you can select the opening types, the sheets of which are to be updated. Select the Windows, Exterior Doors and/or Interior Doors check box. If you are using common numbering for all opening types, the sheets of all opening types are updated. In this case, the check boxes Windows, Exterior doors and Interior doors in the dialog box cannot be selected.
By default, the program collects all the openings of the selected type from each drawing-model pair of the building. However, the window or door library may contain openings for which you do not wish to create the sheets. Add an additional parameter OPLIST= 0 for these openings in the library.
Edit the Window or Door Library
Create drawings
Select the check box, when you want to create or update the drawings. The program will create an Opngs folder in the project folder and save the sheets in it. Openings that are in the same drawing-model pair and have the same label, are included in a single sheet. Clear the check box, if the sheets already exist and need not be updated or if you only want to add an opening schedule to the drawing.
Create schedules
Select the check box, when you want to add opening schedules to a drawing or update the lists already added. Exterior and interior doors are collected in the same schedule. When adding the schedules for the first time, click the places of the schedules in the drawing: first click the place of the window schedule, then the place of the door schedule.
Select the schedules you wish to add:
  • All - The program adds both window and door schedules to the floor plan drawing. Exterior and interior doors are collected in the same schedule.
  • Only selected - The program adds to the floor plan drawing the schedules of the opening types whose check box is selected on the left side of the dialog box.
Summary Sheet
You can collect several openings on the same sheet by selecting the Summary Sheet check box. The summary sheet is saved in the Opngs folder in the project folder. The name of the drawing file is in the format sum_*.vxp.
Based on rooms
Select the check box when you want to add different labels for similar openings located in different rooms. If you have already added the sheet labels without sorting earlier, first delete the old labels, and then select sorting based on rooms.
When the check box is empty, similar openings get the same label regardless of the room.
The selection is insignificant when Unique numbering is in use.
Based on phases
Select the check box when you want to add different labels for similar openings located on different floors. If you have already added the sheet labels without sorting earlier, first delete the old labels, and then select sorting based on floors.
When the check box is empty, similar openings get the same label regardless of the floor.
You can define the starting number for each floor with the project parameter OPNG_STARTNUM, for example in the first floor walls layout parameters:
OPNG_STARTNUM "100"
If the starting number has not been set, or overlapping numbers would be generated, the numbering is started from the greatest available number.
The selection is insignificant when Unique numbering is in use.
Based on modules
Select the check box when you want to add different labels for similar openings located in different modules. If you have already added the sheet labels without sorting earlier, first delete the old labels, and then select sorting based on modules.
When the check box is empty, similar openings get the same label regardless of the module.
The selection is insignificant when Unique numbering is in use.
Unique
Select the check box when you wish to add a label of its own and create a sheet of its own for each opening. If you have already added the sheet labels without unique numbering, first delete the old labels, and then select unique numbering.
You can define the starting number for each floor with the project parameter OPNG_STARTNUM, for example in the first floor walls layout parameters:
OPNG_STARTNUM "100"
If the starting number has not been set, or overlapping numbers would be generated, the numbering is started from the greatest available number.
Delete marked
You can delete opening labels from a drawing by clicking the Delete marked button. First select the opening type, the labels of which will be deleted, by selecting the Windows, Exterior Doors and/or Interior Doors check boxes. The function also deletes the sheets and schedules, if the check boxes Create drawings and Create schedules are selected.
