Framing field properties

Define the properties of the framing field in the dialog box.

Spacing

Spacing indicates the joist spacing in the framing. The joist spacing starts from the origin point of the framing. You can select the spacing from the Spacing list or type it in the text field.

Cross sections

The default cross section, library and material of the framing are displayed on the Default row in the dialog box. You can make the following selections from the Joist list.

• Select - select the cross section properties in a dialog boxPiece properties
• None - no cross section is defined for the joist, so no joists will be added to the framing
• Default - use the default cross section
