Beam Parameters

Select the parameters of a primary beam in the dialog box.

Joint name

Select from the list. If you leave the field empty, the joint will be trimmed to the enveloping line of the profile.

Position

Select one of the following:

• Top Location
• Bottom LocationIf you selected the location method Dropped in the cross section properties, the beam will be positioned below the area in its entirety.
