Gable Rafter Parameters

Select the gable rafter parameters in the dialog box.

Dialog Box Options

Length

Select the default rafter length from the list, or type a desired value in the text field. When you are adding the rafters, you can define a length different than default by selecting it in the drawing.

Spacing

Select the rafter spacing from the list or type the desired value in the text field. Select either of the following as the method of defining the spacing:

• Horizontal - The spacing is measured in xy plane.
• Linear - The spacing is measure in the direction of the top chord.

Piece type

Select either of the following as the piece type:

• Piece - The function Properties opens a dialog box, where you can select the profile parameters.
• Truss - The function Properties opens a dialog box, where you can select the truss parameters.
