Master Set Drawing Sheets

Option System

Define the drawing sheets of a master set based on drawing sheets in a database view. If the database is empty, first add a row with the Edit > Add Row Before or Edit > Add Row After function on the menu bar of the database view.

Creating a New Drawing Sheet

The program creates a new folder named Elevations_1 and a drawing file named Elevations_1.vxp in the Opt_Sheets folder under the project folder. The drawing file is opened in the workspace. The reference drawings you will add on the drawing sheet will be stored in the Elevations_1 folder.
  5. Fill in the information about the drawing in the text fields.
  6. Close the database view by clicking OK.

The drawing sheet you created remains open and you can add elevation views or other drawings on the drawing sheet with the function Adding a Drawing on a Sheet.

For example, if you copy the drawing Elevations_1.vxp, the program copies the file and renames it as Elevations_2.vxp. Also the reference drawing folder Elevations_1 is copied and renamed as Elevations_2.
