Send Projects By Email

You can create compressed files of selected project folders, and attach them to a new e-mail message. Using this function requires that a separate e-mail program has been installed on your computer.

1. Select Archives | Buildings | Export Send Projects By Email.
2. Select the projects to be compressed in a dialog box. You can sort projects by name, date, saving location or description by clicking the headers. Each project is compressed into a VXZ file of its own.

3. Click OK.

   The program compresses the projects to VXZ files. The VXZ files are named according to the projects, for example Project_1.vxz. The program opens a new e-mail message with the compressed files attached to it.

Note

• If you are using a webmail through an internet browser, you can compress the project to a VXZ file by using the Export Projects To VXZ Files function. In this case, you can select the folder in which you want to save the compressed file. Attach the compressed file to an e-mail message using the webmail's own function.
