Update Version Changes to Project-Specific Libraries

You can update software version changes to custom fitted files by using the custom update function. If the update includes changes to the component libraries (system/complibs), you can also update these changes to project-specific component libraries. Project-specific component libraries are located in the complibs folder in the project folder. Only those libraries are updated that cannot be found in the system libraries (system/complibs) or customer-specific libraries (custom/complibs) with the same name. The function does not handle libraries that replace the system library or the customer-specific library.

If the open project has project-specific component libraries, the function Update Project Libraries can be selected in the project's document browser.

  1. Open the project's document browser.
  2. Select the project id.
  3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  4. Select Update Project Libraries.
  5. Select the latest version you have used from the Previous update list.
  6. Confirm by clicking OK. Finally, you will see a list of the conducted measures.

If the function is not available in the menu, there are no libraries to update in the project.

Alternatively, you can select System | Update Custom > Update Project Libraries.
