Smart Line Settings

General

• Use these settings to control the drawing of a smart line chain.
• See drawing a smart line chain: Smart Line Chain.
• The smart line chain is available in drawings and plane sketches of part models.

Define the settings of the smart line chain

1. Select Drafting | Lines | LIne > Smart Line Settings.
2. Define the settings of the smart line chain in the dialog box.
   • Cursor locks
     • Tangential lock
     • Perpendicular lock
     • 45 degree locks
     • General locks (not suggested)
     • Tangential line extension lock to an axis
     • Lock angle tolerance (degrees)
     • Distance multiplier to change the direction
   • Automatic Constraints
     • Tangential constraint
     • Perpendicular constraint
     • Symmetric constraint
     • Distance multiplier for symmetry
     • Constraint angle tolerance (degrees)
   • Drawing
     • Automatic arc center line
3. Select OK.
