Open an Archive Drawing

When opening a drawing, notice the followings:

• If the project is non-active, or the project uses general drawing archive, the drawing number is selected from general drawing archive and the drawing sheet from general sheet archive.
• If the active project uses project-specific drawing and sheet archive, the drawing number and the sheet will be selected from the archives.

  As a default, active projects drawings are selected from a list, if there are less than 40 drawings in search matches.

1. If necessary, open the project before opening the drawing. Open a Project
2. Open from archives.
   • On the tab, in the Documents group, click Open from Archives.
   • Press the Ctrl+O keys.
3. Select the drawing from the list and click OK.
4. Select the drawing sheet in the dialog box, and select OK.

Note

• When the drawing is in the working window, you can open the next available sheet pressing the Page Down key, or the previous sheet pressing the Page Up key.

If you wish to open Search View always when opening the drawing, define the keyword in the setup file user/Setup.
