Delete a Configuration

The configuration 0: Basic or the active configuration cannot be deleted.

Delete other configurations of parts or assemblies as follows:

  1. Move the cursor over the desired configuration in the feature tree of the part or the assembly tree.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Delete.
Note:
  • If any configuration-specific drawings are connected to the configuration, the drawings will lose the information about the configuration from which they were created. The drawings will then be displayed in all configurations. If the drawing has been created from the 0: Basic configuration, the item data of the 0: Basic configuration will be restored in the archives data of the drawing.
  • If an item that is connected to the configuration is the only one in addition to the 0: Basic item, the program will notify you that table model data and table drawing data will be lost. Following this, table drawings will be regular drawings. The table model item will be deleted, if one has been created. If data restoration is accepted, the data of the 0: Basic item is restored on the model's Archives Data.
