Configuration Properties

  1. From the part's feature tree, select the configuration whose properties you want to edit.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Properties.
Name
Specifies the name of the configuration. From the drop-down list you can select previously entered names.
Tolerances
Specifies the tolerance that is used to solve the part's sketches. You can choose either nominal, middle, minimum or maximum tolerance.
If you change the tolerance used in the active configuration, the software will solve the part’s history from the beginning to the end so that constraints of the sketches get their appropriate values based on the new tolerance. In sketching mode, the tolerance affects the constraints’ values but not how the constraint is drawn.
Note:
  • If a tolerance other than nominal has been selected for a configuration, it is displayed in the tree after the configuration's name.
  • If tolerance has not been specified for a constraint, its nominal value is used.
