Perform the Animation of Simulated Constraints
General
- First prepare the simulated constraints.
- Prepare the Simulation Constraints for Animation.
- If there are no simulated constraints in the assembly, the function (button) is inactive (i.e. gray).
Run the simulation
- Select the function Assembly | Dimensions | Animate with Constraints.
- The program runs the animatable constraints in alphabetical order to another extreme position.
Export the model to Vertex Showroom
If necessary, you can export the model to the Vertex Showroom for others to view.
- Read more about the Showroom program https://showroom.vertex.fi/
- Select the function File > Export > Upload to Vertex Showroom.
- The alternative is to create new credentials for yourself.
- Fill in the data.
- The option Export lights is available if lights have been added to the model.
- Adding lights to the model requires that you have the Rendering add-on option.
- The option Export viewpoints exports the view points saved in the model.
- The option Export metadata exports the metadata saved in the model.
- The option Export point cloud exports the point clouds included in the model.
- The option Export explosion animation exports the explosion animation. This is only available if exploded positions have been defined for the assembly parts.
- The option Export constraint animation exports the animation associated with the constraints. This is only available if there are simulated constraints in the assembly.
- The option Export lights is available if lights have been added to the model.
