Relocate Material to a Face

 

You can set the location of a material texture added to a face of a part, and resize the texture, if necessary.

  1. Do either of the following:
    • Part - Select a face on a part.
    • Assembly - First, select a part to be edited, and then select a face of the part.
  2. Select the context-sensitive Rendering> Relocate Material function.
  3. Use the functions in the dialog box to define the location and size of the material hatch.
    • You can select the starting point of the hatch on the face by clicking the Position button.
    • You can select the direction of the hatch on the face by clicking the Direction button.
    • You can move the hatch on the face by clicking the Point button.
    • You can define the size of the hatch on the face by clicking the Point button.

  4. Select OK.
