Connect or Disconnect Parts

You can use this function to connect:

  • Parts to a beam panel of a frame line.
  • Beam panels, frame lines of assemblies to a panel assembly.

If the assembly, beam panel, or frame line is already part of another assembly, it is automatically disconnected from the old assembly.

You can use the same function to disconnect parts from panels or panel assemblies.

  1. Select a panel or a panel assembly.
  2. Select Panel | Panel | Connect.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • If you selected a panel, select the parts to be connected or disconnected in the floor plan or in the model.
    • If you selected a panel assembly, select the panels to be connected or disconnected. Select the panel label in the floor plan, or click one of the panel parts in the model.
  4. Select Confirm.
Note: If all parts are disconnected from the beam panel, frame line, or panel assembly, the panel or assembly is automatically unbuilt (panel data is removed).
