Check Building Component Interference

Building component interference refers to a situation where the same component has been added several times on the exactly same location, however, it seems that there is only one component added. You can check the building component interference in a project as follows:

  1. Select Modeling | Tools Check Building Component Interference.

If the program finds overlapping components, the extra component is highlighted in color.

  2. Select one of the following:
    • Yes - Delete the duplicate components one by one.
    • Yes to All - Delete all duplicate components.
    • No - Skip deleting an individual component.
    • No to All - Cancel deleting duplicate components.

Note

  • This checking is done automatically whenever the project is saved. If the program finds duplicate building components, it displays an error message asking the user to select this checking function to locate and delete them.
