Add Soffits

You can add soffits to an eave.

1. Select Modeling | Accessory Component | Component gallery Soffit.
2. Select the structure in the dialog box.

3. Before adding the soffits, you can still change the material with the functions in the auxiliary menu.
   • Select Material from List
   • Select Material from Another Area
4. Select the method of adding the soffits from the auxiliary menu.
   • To eave
   • To slope
   • To roof
   • To corner

5. Select the location of the soffits according to the selected adding method.

The soffits will be shown as color fill in the floor plan drawing when the Show Color Fills setting is enabled, and the layer 109 Soffits is visible. Enable Show Color Fills as follows:

1. Select > Preferences > Drawings, Models.
2. Select the View tab.
3. Select Drawing: Show Color Fills.
