Stretch Wall Layer to Roof Dialog Box

Select the edge of a wall layer to be stretched and the roof surface to which to stretch in a dialog box. If you are clipping a wall with a roof, select the edge to be clipped and the clipping roof surface.

Which end of wall

Select which wall volume edge is to be stretched.

• Top - The top edge of the wall volume is stretched to the roof above the wall.
• Bottom - The bottom edge of the wall volume is stretched to the roof below the wall.

To which side of roof

Select whether the wall volume is to be stretched to the top or bottom surface of the roof.

Offset

If necessary, type the distance of the wall volume from the roof surface. The positive direction is always away from the roof. For example, if you select the volume to be stretched to the bottom surface of the roof, the positive direction of offset is downwards from the bottom surface or the roof. Additionally, select whether the distance is measured in the vertical direction or in the direction perpendicular to the roof surface.
