Add Several Panel Drawings to the Same Sheet as Reference Drawings

Framer

You can add several panel drawings or panel part drawings to the same sheet as reference drawings by using a function in the project's document browser. First, generate the panel drawings and part drawings. Use a simple template drawing suitable for this purpose. If necessary, design a separate template drawing for this purpose.

When the required drawings exist, create a new sheet on which you will add the drawings.

Add a New Drawing Sheet

When the sheet is open, do the following:

  1. Select the title Structural drawings in the project's document browser.
  2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  3. Select List view.
  4. In the document list, select the panel drawings and part drawings that you want to add to the sheet. Select the documents by holding down the Ctrl key. You can sort the documents by clicking the headers in the list box.
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Add to sheet - Click the location of the first drawing on the sheet. Click the location of the second drawing. The program will automatically add the rest of the drawings sequentially on the sheet. The distance between the drawings is the distance between the first and second drawing.
    • Add to sheet in grid - First, enter the maximum number of columns. Click the location of the first drawing. Define the distance of the second column from the first by clicking the location of the second drawing. The program adds the drawings automatically in columns and rows. The distance between the columns is the distance between the first and second drawing.
    • Locate to sheet - Click the location of each drawing on the sheet.
  6. Save and close the sheet.
Note:
  • You can also select a title under the Structural drawings title ( Wall panels, Floor panels, etc.). In this case, only the panel drawings under the title in question will be shown in the document list.
  • If a panel is changed, update the panel drawing.
