Save a Password Protected Project

A protected project cannot be saved without a password. The program asks a password for the open project only once, when the project is saved for the first time. After this, the project can be saved without the password. When the project is closed and opened the next time, the password is asked again for the first save.

  1. Select > Save Project. The Enter Password dialog box opens.
  2. Type the password in the Password field. The password is case-sensitive.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.

If the password is correct, the program saves the project. If the password is wrong, you will be prompted "Wrong password", and the Enter Password dialog box opens again.

If you do not know the password, you can close the dialog box by clicking the Cancel button. You cannot save the project without the password.

Note

  • When you open a password protected project, you will be prompted: "Note! Saving the opened project requires a password."
  • The password protection does not prevent autosaving the project.
