Set a Password for a Project

Protect a project with a password as follows:

1. Open a project, and activate one of its drawing-model pairs.
2. Select Archives | Buildings | Maintenance Project Password Protection.

   The Project Password Protection dialog box opens. If a password has not been set for the project, the dialog box fields are empty.

3. Type the password in the New password field. The maximum password length is 31 characters.
4. Type the password again in the Re-enter new password field.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.

   The program saves the project. You will be prompted: "Password protection done".

Note

• When a password protected project is opened the next time, the user is prompted "Note! Saving the opened project requires a password".
